MAKE YOUR 2020 VOTING PLAN

Make sure you are registered at your current address.

  •  Check myvote.wi.gov or call 414-286-3491.

Research the candidates.

  •  Preview your ballot at myvote.wi.gov.

Choose one of these voting methods:

  • Vote by mail (AKA absentee or mail-in-ballot)
    • Request one from myvote.wi.gov ASAP.
    • Once you have it, fill it out, then return it by mail ASAP, or take it to an official ballot drop-box
  • Vote at an early voting site
    • Choose a site (locations & dates listed below).
    • Bring photo ID and wear a facemask.
  • Vote at your polling place on November 3rd
    • Find your polling place by visiting myvote.wi.gov.
    • Wear a facemask and bring photo ID

  • Call Souls to the Polls at (414) 246-1823 to reserve Uber or Lyft. 
    • Open October 20 - November 3
    • 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Weekdays

Ballot drop boxes will be open 24 hours/7 days a week. 

Ballot drop boxes will be open until 7:30pm on Election Day. 

 

In-Person Absentee (Early Voting) Schedule

City of Milwaukee voters are able to go to any early voting site.

  • Early Voting will be held Tuesday, October 20th - Sunday, November 1st. 
  • Please note not all sites have the same schedule.
  • There is no voter registration on Saturday, October 31st or Sunday, November 1st. 

 

Frank P. Zeidler Municipal Building, 841 N Broadway, Room 102 (Registered voters enter from Market Street. Voters needing to update address/name enter from Broadway)

Midtown Center, N 58th Street & W Capitol Drive (east of Subway & west of Pick ‘n Save)

Independence First and Manitoba School are by appointment only. Appointment requests will be considered after October 20th. Please note requests are honored based  on the voter's inability to vote at any of the other sites during the scheduled voting hours.  Please email kdzapat@milwaukee.gov to request an appointment.
