CLASS SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of standard cleaning, ground maintenance, and debrising of outside grounds as well as internal units.
TYPICAL CLASS ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
1. Perform a variety of tasks involving maintenance tasks, including: emptying trash debring units and outside grounds
2. Clean up, transport and consolidate debris, and general refuse from vacant units..
3. Physically walks the property, removes trash, litter, and debris from the grounds..
4. Reports all major repairs and/or needs to the management team.
5. Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
6. Material handling and storage including appliances, equipment and tools
7. Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
8. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Director or HR Director.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):
1. Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
2. Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS (positions in this class typically require):
Wisconsin Drivers License

SKILLS (position requirements at entry):
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, lifting, moving and carrying light objects, operating office equipment, and driving an automobile. Work at managed properties may include exposure to hot, cold, damp and wet weather conditions. . At times, work requires the use of safety clothing and equipment.
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
